National Early Warning Platform

It is an electronic platform for early warning in emergencies to transmit warning messages developed by the General Directorate of Civil Defense in accordance with the best international standards, using the cellular broadcast service, through which warning messages with a distinctive tone are transmitted to phones connected to mobile communications networks to warn the Kingdom's population, and to inform them of what must be taken for their safety and protection. 

The following table shows the levels of warning messages:
